Painting WIP

Hey everyone! Noticed it had been awhile, but I'm working on a few personal projects, while in the market for a new job. 

This will be unusual, as I don't really like posting WIP's, but this one is special. So this is a really rough work in progress on a new piece that's for a story I have. I can't reveal much, only that the girl's name is Cassandra. She's very special, and I based this scene off of someone who was very close to me. Although it DOES bear a similarity to my other painting, this one is very different.

I love the colors so far, and I'm hoping the end result will replicate 'bokeh' which is how lights look all blurry in photographs.

Girl with the Umbrella

Photoshop painting. I was inspired by this girl I met, and developed feelings for.

I couldn't help but draw a portrait of her. It's still a WIP, but I felt like posting what I had so far. The color scheme is just a test, because it's awfully light out for rain. I was experimenting with painting techniques, but I think that the drawing size might be too small to see the techniques I used.
